Maison Haviland has partnered with the Zuber Manufacture to create the Le Brésil collection. Inspired by Joseph Fuchs’ 1862 work, a panoramic scene made up of 20 panels. Founded in Rixheim in 1790, Zuber is the oldest wallpaper manufacturer still in operation and the only one in the world that still produces panoramic designs using traditional woodblock printing. This collection captures the spirit of the Amazon rainforest, where rich plant life and diverse wildlife come together in a lush landscape. A wide variety of extraordinary birds such as peacocks, cranes, pheasants, flamingos, macaws, and hummingbirds are shown with long, colorful feathers, set against a backdrop of rivers and mangroves. Haviland draws on its unique expertise to faithfully recreate the vibrant colors and intricate details of this enchanting scene.
