The Louveciennes collection is inspired by a porcelain set called “Cartels with pearls, panels with roses and cornflowers”. This masterpiece was acquired from the Sèvres Manufacture for Marie-Antoinette in 1781. This neoclassical design brings together the Queen’s favorite flowers and motifs. Roses, cornflowers, pansies, myrtle, and pearls are arranged in elegant medallions, cartouches, and scrolls highlighted with gold. Haviland adds a distinctive touch by enhancing the pearls in the large medallions with a deep midnight blue, imbuing the design with expression and vitality.
